9.985.00 YSL L'Homme & La Nuit de L'Homme Longevity Advice. Discussion. Last month I bought recent batches of YSL L'Homme and La Nuit de L'Homme. Beautiful openings and scents but the longevity and performance are horrible. They both seem to last barely an hour on me before turning into light skin scents. Over spray to help with longevity, also put it into a travel sprayer and reapply when needed. I have a vintage bottle from ~2011 and it lasts just alright. Longevity is ~4 hours and sillage is arm's length, I'd say. It ain't great, but it's good for what it is.
I've also read that the scent itself doesn't last long, and that it can barely last a couple of hours. What are your thoughts? Is it still worth it or has it became a more of a date or night out fragrance rather than a school fragrance. It's like a combination between bitter orange and cognac with woody notes. Despite its strong notes, its sillage is soft (that's up to everyone's taste). The only issue that I have with this fragrance is that I have the feeling that it has a mediocre longevity and that's why I'm writing this post. On me "beast mode" Sauvage lasts at maximum around 7 hours, whilst the "weak performing" BDC edt lasts 12 hours plus and projects well for a good 4 to 5 hours. One tip I would reccomend is spraying clothes (though usually not a lot and darker clothes) helps the smell linger for far longer in my experience. 4.

Hi everyone, With a few EDT samples from Nordstrom I've been thrust into the world of men's fragrances. So far I have tried a few fragrances and I really like YSL L'homme. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to last for more than three or four hours. Are there any similar scents that last all day. It was gone after 3-4 hrs..... (the cardamom-cinnamon combo is very weak now). I still own original L'Homme (tester) which is from June 2014 (Checkcosmetics) and smells still very good though definitely reformulated compared to first release.
